Now An Update On Sweet BooBoo

And that's our nickname for Ava (not that she was a boo boo, not really sure how that started). We found out today she did indeed have an actual kidney infection, not just bladder. So, she will have to have the tests I mentioned before. We will soon be going to the pediatric urologist because there's no way I'm making her go through the VCUG without sedation. Of course, we will be praying it shows no reflux, but if it does, she may have to have surgery to correct it later on. But I'm not gonna worry about that right now.
"Therefore do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about itself. Each day has enough trouble of its own." Matthew 6:34
She did great for the pee-pee cup today. She was actually excited to do it. I had been pumping her up about it for a few days so she wouldn't be hesitant. After the appointment, she got a little "toy surprise" as she calls it (mainly because she doesn't consider any food items a surprise). That was also because she did so well during the very long diabetic teaching appointment for Kevin yesterday.
Wow, so much at one time! But we'll make it, one day/appointment at a time.
But also, like I've read/heard before and agree, God does give us more than we can handle sometimes. He just never gives us more than He can handle. When we feel too weak to bare it all, it is His strength that gets us through when we seek Him at those toughest times.
"...My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness." 2Corinthians 12:9

Wow Amy you have such a beautiful spirit! You are positive and trust that God is with you through every step. That is amazing! We will be praying for little Ava as she goes through her testing. Also for you and Kevin as you wait for the results.

I am trying, but you know I find Matt. 6 pretty tough to live, which I know many do. But it's also a big test of our faith if we can just let it go for Him to take care of.
